One of my earliest and most meaningful attachments was with my grandfather. I grew up in a rural village, living in a longhouse where community and family ties were very strong. My grandfather played a big role in my childhood. Whenever I felt sad or scared, he would comfort me by taking me along with him. We would go hunting together, swim and play in the river, and at night, he would take me to his farmland where we would stay overnight in a small wooden hut.

Those moments spent with him in nature made me feel safe, calm, and deeply cared for. He showed his love through actions by including me in his daily life and always being there for me. This relationship best reflects a secure attachment style because I felt emotionally supported, protected, and valued. My bond with him helped shape the way I build trust and connect with others even today.
