         <description><![CDATA[<div>The presence of Thymine instead of Cytosine in the DNA sequence because, as shown by the pedigrees, all lactose tolerant individuals have at least one chromosome where the is a T in position 14 of the DNA sequence 1,  in intolerant individuals both chromosomes don't have T's in place of C's, and no other base is found in only lactose tolerant DNA sequences, unlike A, for example, which is present in both intolerant and tolerant cases.</div>]]></description>
