         <description><![CDATA[<div>Michelangelo had many accomplishments throughout his lifetime<br>-His biggest achievement was painting the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel.<br>-He also carved the sculpture "Madonna of the stairs", which took him a year to complete.<br>-He also created the Pietà and David sculptures.<br>-The principals of the Italian Renaissance included Humanism and the importance of art.<br>-The work of Michelangelo demonstrated the principals of the Renaissance by displaying how he as an individual could accomplish huge achievements and create impressive masterpieces. </div>]]></description>
