The work does not have to be finished, and the students know this so that they do not feel anxiety or the obligation to finish every week. Every week I will present new goals so that they have a sense of direction. I pushed all my classes really hard during term 1 and they deserved a break, unfortunately I don't believe they are getting one. I have done what is required of me for my department and left my email for their communication. However, I know how hard it is for me to concentrate at the moment with all the uncertainty and I am a grown adult. I am also aware that a lot of my students are essential workers and care for large families who will have to babysit and be present for their family time.
