Together we will:

-We will use digital tools to enhance our learning and ensure everyone has the same opportunities to participate and contribute.

-We will actively seek and respect the perspectives of others, ensuring that all voices are heard, especially those of marginalized or underrepresented groups.

-We will respect the privacy of others, refraining from sharing personal information or digital content without permission.

-We will engage in thoughtful, respectful dialogue, even when we disagree, and we will always seek to understand different points of view.

-We will take breaks from screens when needed and practice mindfulness to ensure our digital activities are healthy and balanced.

-We are all responsible for creating a positive and productive online community, contributing, supporting, and holding each other accountable.

As the course instructor, I will:

-Model the norms in my digital interactions both inside and outside the classroom.

-Encourage students to reflect on these norms regularly and discuss their importance in group settings or one-on-one meetings.

-Allow students to teach each other about digital citizenship, encouraging collaborative learning and peer responsibility.

-Keep these norms visible (e.g., posted on our digital platforms) and regularly remind students of the importance of creating a positive digital culture.
