Coronal divides the body into a front and back section. The front section can be called anterior, and the back can be called posterior. Transverse divides the body into an upper and lower section, but it divides the parts horizontally. </p>]]></description>

The femur is located right below the iccium, and a fun fact about the femur is that it is 1/3 of your height. The lower leg is composed of the tarsals, tibia and fibula. The Tibia supports most of our body weight compared to the fibula. </p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>So, there is 4 anatomical joints, which includes hinge, ball and socket, saddle, and pivot. The ball and socket joint has 8 movements, which includes, flexion/extension, abduction/adduction, external/internal rotation, and horizontal abduction/adduction. The hinge joint only has two movements and is used in our knees and elbows. The shoulders and hip joints have ball and socket joints. The pivot joint has 2 movements, which are right and left rotation. The saddle joint has 4 main movements that include, flexion/extension and abduction/adduction.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>We learned how to tape not only wrists and fingers, but ankles and arches. Taping hands and ankles wasn't just to make them look cute. Taping your fingers was to support a hurt finger, or to prevent them from hyper flexion. It is the same with your wrist, or when you're taping your wrist including your thumb. That was to prevent from hurting your wrist and thumb further. When taping your ankle, it would stabilize it, which would prevent you from spraining it. </p>]]></description>

We learned how to use a blood pressure cuff, and what all of the numbers mean. We also learned how to use a stethoscope, and the dangers of it. Honestly, this experience was very cool and made me realize how everything works.  </p>]]></description>

It shows the plan laid out in case someone gets injured. This also made me realize why some players who get injured don't go to the hospital right away. This assignment made me realize why we do the things we do, and how much work it actually takes. </p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>So basically, these are most of the muscles that move and stabilize your ankle. These muscles allow the ankle to bend downward and outward. The muscles which help plantarflex the foot are called the gastrocnemius and soleus. The tibialis anterior dorsiflexes the foot. I wish I memorized these muscles this unit but just learning facts about these muscles was really cool. Now I know how my ankle is kept stabilized and why it doesn't crumble under they weight of my body. </p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>The muscles in the knees allow for stability, bending, straightening, and rotation of the joint. These muscles include the quad muscles, which are one of the biggest muscles in our body. The quads are responsible for extending the knee, while the hamstrings are responsible for enabling knee flexion. I honestly didn't know what the hamstrings did so it was nice to learn that they also take part in stabilizing/moving the knee. </p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>This was a fun experience for me because I had no idea what q angles were at all. So by doing this lab not only did I measure the q angles myself, but I got to see if my friends were susceptible to some injuries in the future. I liked learning how to measure out where to put the dots, or how to find the absolute center of the knee. This was a great experience and I really like this class because of all the hands on labs we do. </p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>These series of test were performed on our partners and they all mostly test for tears in the Achilles tendon, ankle sprain, or a fracture in the lower leg. I feel like this information is always good to know because its useful in case of emergencies. Plus it is interesting to see that just by squeezing/touching a muscle, it could reveal something that would be wrong with your body. </p>]]></description>
