         <description><![CDATA[<p>Knowing our limits such as deciding in advance what you can handle and what you cannot. It helps us avoid situations that can be overly distressing. Seeking support within friends/family and share what you are going through also spending time with loved ones can be comforting.</p><p><br/></p><p>Taking care of ourselves is a number one priority and is very important during triggering or traumatic situations. I like to personally write in a journal I’ve been doing that since I was 15/16 or read books and doing self care.          <title>Taking Care of Ourselves</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>We need to take care of ourselves before we help others. We can not help others well if we are not feeling well ourself. We need to do Self-Care, here and there. It’s ok to treat yourself once in a while. </p><p>For my Self-Care, I like to sew, bead, relax, watch movies, be with family, go for rides, listen to music, do house cleaning. I try to treat myself once a week or more if needed. When I do these things, it eases my mind, body and soul!</p><p>Reenergize, stay hydrated, stay active, be positive.</p><p>Colleen</p>]]></description>
