3. Enforcement and Inspections
The Act must be enforced by regulatory organisations and law enforcement agencies:

Inspections: To make sure that the law is being followed, authorities have the authority to conduct inspections of businesses that have licenses. These inspections may be conducted at random or in response to complaints or possible infractions.
Enforcement: Fines, licence suspension, or revocation are possible sanctions for noncompliance. Repeat offenders could be subject to harsher penalties, such as criminal prosecution.

4. Limitations on Promotion and Advertising
Additionally, the Act governs the marketing and promotion of alcohol:

Advertising Restrictions: Alcohol cannot be advertised in a way that encourages binge drinking or targets children. Many times, advertisements are only allowed on specific media platforms (e.g., no alcohol commercials on children's TV shows).
Promotions: To make sure they don't promote careless drinking, special alcohol promotions (such discounts or "happy hours") may be subject to regulations. To prevent binge drinking, for instance, steep discounts or limitless drink offerings may be outlawed.
