1 - Using social and informal language since my English learning experience have been mostly through formal instruction.
2- Pronouncing certain sounds in words, especially vowels, e.g. coconut. Also pronouncing the word alienable, plurality, among other.
3- Becoming self-conscious in certain settings (social interaction).

Struggling with pronunciation and appropriate word placement in both languages (English and Spanish). The shame of mispronunciation.
2.  Not being taught Spanish at home, used as a barrier. Having to teach themselves in a later time, needs the experience in order to feel comfortable participating in it. (Spanish and ASL)
3. Lost all of the second language they learned. If you don't keep practicing you lose it.
4. Harder to learn a third language, and fully understanding them becomes a challenge.
