I am so happy and excited for you! Your little girl is already so blessed to have you as a mom, with your fun, caring, easy going personality. That will help you laugh when you feel like crying over the 7th blowout diaper of the day haha. Before being a parent I really thought that was a myth or just something that happened to parents who don't diaper their baby well- nope ;)

You know when you're envious of someone reading a book or watching a movie that you LOVE because they're at the beginning of getting to love it...that's how I feel for you and your growing family. Those newborn days are definitely ruled by hormones, lack of sleep, and the surreal "can this really be real" sensation, and they are the beginning of a lifetime of adventures. Soak it all up...even after three months down the road you'll likely look back with feelings of nostalgia. Enjoy a major advantage of this historical pandemic time - the world is mostly on pause so that you can both stare at and swoon over your little miracle. Enjoy her. She's already blessed to come into a beautiful family that is anxiously waiting to love on her.
Wishing you all the best with your birthing experience (if things go differently than expected, just know that the "Birth Fairy" is visiting and try to move on). Focus on your new babe and family. We will miss you and we will be at a loss at times as to what to do without you, but we will be fine! Forget about us for awhile. ;)
