I would include our mission statement, and talk about the 5 core values that we base our programs on and try to instill in the children.
To incorporate relationship building and network building, I would make sure to include a brief overview of how we use Microsoft Teams, as well as another program called LINK to network and communicate with each other association wide.

I would include our mission statement and a time for team leaders to discuss with their new staff the values and standards currently in place. I provide staff with a copy of our employee handbook and access to our curriculum and examples of past projects and activities.

To help build relationships, I'd introduce new staff to any returning staff, explain the systems and roles we use in our programs, provide resources for connecting with myself, my supervisors, and other staff in their position, provide a clear and concise outline for how they will fit in to the first days and weeks of work, and create time for them to ask questions about our programs, staff, and culture.

After sharing the mission statement, I would encourage all staff to share their thoughts and ask questions. That way we can best establish a shared understanding to best support each other and our students. To help build relationships, I would make sure there were accessible and "open door" communication methods between all staff.
