The relationship between the two Friars, is one of broken trust, and betrayal. It is sad how a once healthful and blooming friendship turned sour, after a mistake made by Friar John. Just like the Feud between the Montagues and the Capulets, it seems like trying to resolve a problem, only serves to damage and worsen the issue in the first place. Without having a plan to stitch back together the friendship, they are left picking up the scraps, as one had run away from the other. The hatred never solved any problems between the two, but maybe if they apologized, then they could have helped the situation between them more.

Poor Juliet, crying her sorrows away with her definitely healthy gathering of ice cream. In her crying fits and tantrums, her sadness was fueled by anger, for her dad, herself, and to the world, as she can never be fully happy with her life. After Tybalt was killed, although Juliet was very sad, she was in rage as well, she didn't know how to feel, and neither did Romeo, we was sad that he had to kill Tybalt, a Capulet. "Who's name a care for just as much as mine." They were both lost between the fight between their families, no regard for the other's feelings, but only caring for who came out victorious.

After word had gotten out to all of Verona, including the Capulets and the Montagues, the Capulets were just so fueled with anger, they had to do something to achieve some sort of justice, for both Tybalt, and the kingdom. It was declared that if Romeo was seen in Verona again, he would be killed, so he was exiled. And with a member of the Capulets, Tybalt, being killed by a Montague, and a member of the Montagues, Romeo, being exiled, it only caused the rift between the two family's to open wider, and the bridge between them to only crumble more.

What has gotten Romeo through his ups and downs? After all of the rejections and breakups throughout the years, surely he needs a way to cope and take his anger and frustration and all of his emotions all of his emotions out by something, right? The beginning of Romeo's playlist shows songs of both heavy metal, and depressing piano, for he had been rejected by Rosaline. But after a few songs, and a few days, Romeo had gotten over his hatred for her, and his hate turned into obsession. I'm not sure which one is worse in a relationship, but Juliet seems to see it as a green flag. Obsession is just a mass amount of love, right? Not scary or dramatic at all... nope!

What a beautiful and healthy Father-Daughter relationship, wouldn't you agree? There seems to be some misunderstandings in this family, and in both families. Benvolio tries to even out Mercutio, and Capulet tries to control Juliet with his power. Maybe the true problem is not jealousy and power in the battles and arguments of hatred. Maybe the real hate was just a buildup of aggression between the independent family members and horrible parenting, on the Capulets' parts.
