Thawing meat in the microwave seems like a good idea until you realize that you have submitted yourself to the temperature danger zone readily by doing so! By making the choice to "quickthaw" meat in the microwave, you subject it to dangerous temperatures where bacteria will grow at a rapid rate and can make you sick.
