Over the break I celebrated Christmas. It was my little brothers birthday. His birthday is on January 1. My family and I stayed up until the ball drop.

I stayed up on New Years Eve to watch the ball drop the clock turned to twelve. I also got together with my friends a few times and had fun. Staying to watch the ball drop was my favorite from the winter break because it was exciting to count down from ten when it was 10 seconds away till midnight. I got excited when it turned to a New Year, 2021!

I went Skiing in Vermont with my dad, my sister and me. My mom stayed in the condo and read books when my sister, dad and me where skiing. when I came home everyday my feet hurt and I was very cold so I had hot chocolate and hung out with my family. it was so much fun!

My favorite thing I did during Winter Break was going to Wisconsin and spending time with my family. We rented a cabin in Madison for the last 3 days. During those 3 days at the cabin, someday's we made ornaments, and someday's we played in the snow. Overall it was a great Winter Break

One of my favorite parts of winter break was when my family friends Abby, Ellie and their parents came over to our house for Christmas dinner. We had Turkey, ham, mashed potatoes, gravy, sweet potato marshmallow casserole, and much more. Before we ate dinner we got to pull crackers. You are supposed to go in a big circle and you and the person next to you pull a cracker and whoever gets the bigger side wins a prize, a crown, and a small piece of paper with a joke on it. Everyone won at least one of them, I got a note pad and a green crown. For dinner I had some mash potatoes, some of the sweet potato marshmallow casserole, and some turkey. After dinner there was four crackers left so me, my sister, Celeste, Abby, and Ellie got to pull another one. Celeste and Ellie just opened theirs themselves but me and Abby pulled ours with each other. This time I got a puzzle that you had to unlock and a Orange crown.

Over Winter break, I went over to my Grandparent's house a couple of times. For example, on January 1st (the day after New Years) my family and I went over to my Grandparent's house for a special lunch, I also did a Korean bow and received some money!

My favorite part of winter break was spending time with my mom ,dad ,my sister Abby and my brother Jacob . Mostly what we did was drive to our cousins house to wish them a merry Christmas . Than when Christmas was over and that meant signs were good because I got to get the whole entire week off. It felt so nice to get to take a break from school and from sitting in front of the computer all day . That night on New Year's eve I was waiting for the ball drop so we can finely have a new year 2021! But when break ended I was really happy to be back in school .

Even though most of the time i stayed home during winter break my favorite part of it was when I celebrated my sisters birthday and when I celebrated New Years. On New Year's I stayed up and watched the ball.

Over break I went to my cousin's house to celebrate Christmas. My cousins that live next door to me went to our other cousins house with us. We went on Christmas Eve but we decided that if you can't make it to midnight-then you can't open any presents. My Aunt made a desert board (a big chopping board with desserts on it) with candy, candy canes, brownies, and cookies. I made chocolate crumble cookies and brought them over too. Our grandparents were there to, and they and our little cousins didn't weren't about to make it so we opened presents at 11:30 instead. We took turns opening presents from youngest to oldest and whoever's turn it was to open a present, they sat in a red chair. I had a very good time!

My favorite thing about winter break was christmas day morning and dinner. That day I woke up at 4:30 in the morning and peaked in the living room and see piles of presents. I bolt to my sisters room then my mom and woke all of them up we spent about an hour opining them and then I spent hours playing with all the knew things I got and for the dinner we slathered pataitoes with butter and sprinkled salt on the brussil sprouts and we ended up having ham,pataitoes,brusil sprouts and corn we had a great Christmas day.

My favorite part of break was Christmas. I got a Nintendo Switch along with several games, including Spatoon 2 and Animal Crossing: New Horizons. After that I went skiing at a place called Jay peak, and there was only one black open, which was disapointing. but at the resort there is a waterpark. I went on all of the rides but one becouse I was to light. When we left the resort we went to another ski resort called Stowe. Almost all of the trails their were open exept for the famous trails called the front 4. Th ey are 4 double blacks that are some of the hardest trails on the east coast, and their names are Goat, Starr, Liftline and National. I probably would have gone on one of them but they were closed. The next day i went home and relaxed after that amazing trip.

Everyone in the the family made a family movie. Our was about us thinking about a play we could make and so it shows what we were thinking about. We each had a scene. MIne was from Home Alone. One of my sisters did a part from Elf. My mom and my other sister did a scene from A Christmas Story. Then we put it on a video software so the entire extended family could see.

This break I played the game of life with my sister and dad. I played it once before, but mostly forgot how it works. So, this was my life in life .

I was a girl in the pink car and I went to collage...like a good girl! I got the Doctor card. And of course I picked it. Didn't have much Adventures, but I did get money.
I think my mom is going to ban all board game from our house.

My favorite part of winter break was when my sister Daisy, family friend Etta and I, had an awesome New Years party. We had s'mores outside then went in and watched Cheaper by the Dozen 2. We had guac and tons of other snacks. I had 3 and a half glasses of ginger ale and had a sugar high. We then went to the basement and played Mario Kart until midnight. We watched the ball drop, and then immediately went to bed. It was so much fun and so special because I had never stayed up until midnight before on New Years.
