650 million years ago, Scotland was a piece from Laurentia. Then the kontinental drift began and Laurentia went to the North. During the walk,there was a little piece from the Highlands built. In the same time were the isle group to England and Wales bounced,in while the Highlands and Southern Uplands were built. The Highlands were abraded by the erosion. This impact created a fault, the Great Glen, stretching for 100km from Fort Wiliam to Iverness. This line divide the North- West Highlands and the Grampians.Also was there Ice, who had on the Highlands a lot of findlings left.
