The fastest way in order to tackle the problem is by raising wages. Improving wages by an apceptable ammount can lead to more advantages than disadvantages. First of all, the possibility to create the profit can be remained. Some people might say that profit can still be created but the amount of it will be reduced compared to the past In my opinion, raising wages means we are willing to understand and please the requirement of workers. Therefore, it will improve the attachment between employers and employees as well as an acceptable amount. As a result, the quality of created goods can be better. The higher the quality of the goods, the more we will earn from them. Besides, thanks to it, the ethical issue can automatically be solved.

Not only the wages but also the working environment. The company should create a standard working environment depending on the global standard working hours. If the company gives more extra hours, it would increase the requirement of workers to pay more money due to the sense of unfairness.

1. Instead of simply paying higher wages, I thought that Hankook Textile could provide incentives such as better factory conditions, regular medical services, or even free education. This would mean higher costs in the short-term, but it would certainly mean lower costs in the long-term.

2. Hankook Textile can do regular checkups of the factory conditions so that the stakeholders would be ensured that Hankook Textile is not violating human rights of the workers in Laos.

-From the viewpoint of strategic planning team, profit should be the primary value. However, if ethical conditions aren't considered, that would be a blow to the reputation of Hankook Textile and its profits.

The solution I came up was to improve the working environment in Laos. In the cases of Nike and Nestle, the companies had to show action to improve the working environment to regain their sales. In the long term, humane treatment towards the workers leads to more profit as friendly working environment leads to efficient production and the social image of the company directly connects to the sales. So the solution includes lessening the controlling atmostphere and providing welfares such as inexpensive healthcare.

improning wages is the most fast solution, but in terms of maximizing company profit, it is difficult. So we need to find out more indirect solutions. For example, improving the working environment. By not simply increasing wages, but improving the working environment, workers' productivity can be increased in the long run and corporate image can be improved.

Improving the corporate image is also an important factor, and it is necessary to promote social activities that help corporate profits in the long run, even if there is a loss to corporate profits in the short term.
