While growing up I found it difficult to find anyone who could relate as growing up queer in Cornwall. I think this was also a main catalyst for why I wanted to leave. Cornwall now being the second poorest county in the UK. The exploitation of Cornish culture the ideology of vast clean beaches and rich in nature. There is currently a massive housing crisis within Cornwall, Cornish people can’t afford to live there anymore, yet a vast majority of the rich bracket have second homes in Cornwall, don’t pay council tax and instead dump their waste onto the streets and in the sea. A lot of Cornish people believe in Cornish independence and try to preserve the Cornish community with people sticking Cornish flags on their cars and constantly having to convince people they are actually from there. When does this fight instead turn from innocent passion into pure xenophobia.

Obviously you've thought about the history of Devon and Cornwall Longwool sheep. Your great grandfather kept a pedigree flock of 300 of them as well as being a well known breeder and judge of Shire Horses and the Longwool sheep. Vivian was barded for services to Cornwall. Morwenna was a pastie expert often asked to judge a good pasty one example judged pasties in Australia in the Cornish Heritage mining town of Moonta. Your great great grandfather Ned was a methodist  lay preacher for 60 years. Ed had a framed certificate awarding him of his years of service for a long time.

So it says on the family tree I went back to Trenarret Farm, Altarnun where I spent the first 6 months, of my life and the lovely  church there,where I was christened. Its known as the cathedral of the moors.  It felt a bit weird and spooky, as I almost died there from double pneumonia!  
Your great great grandmother Susie Hocking was very musical and played the church organ for the Sunday services at the Lizard. She was presented with a silver kettle as commemoration. I have a dictaphone recording done by Vivian as he had had a great memory about the family.

I would always stare at it and imagine it as a different world, in my imagination I would live in the church with my siblings and we would run across the sand. From the age of 7, every Saturday I would go to this exact beach to surf life save until I was 15. Sometimes when I daydream this painting comes back to me like it's tattooed on my mind, a place I've been so many times. I wonder if I no longer live in Cornwall or see this painting it'll no longer be in my dreams. The best distraction is daydreaming, this is the best daydream, we find solace and comfort in things we remember as happy memories.

Long ago Cornwall was apparently full of marauding giants and one of them, Bolster, terrorized the good folk on the north coast regularly eating their children. To celebrate Bolster’s eventual demise, the villagers of St Agnes hold a pageant every year starting with a lantern procession, bonfire and barbeque.  The following day the Knight Sir Constantine and the bolster drummers parade the streets of the village in search of Bolster (a giant effigy) ending in a dramatic confrontation on the cliffs above Chapel Porth Beach.

Essentially safe, tight knit everyone knows everyone grow up and how sparse cornwall is, and cultural diversity, distant 

Engage people of culture, identity, cousins non of them wanted to be Chinese, and white, eat fish and chips. Confident, self identity, migraton more recent. Food places, auntie ran take away skills they can show through cooking, not traditional cuisine of Cornwall. Why doesn’t move to cornwall, situation, mom move somewhere nicer, no one moving down. No minorities and housing crisis, St ives Asian tourists not migrants.

Eds dad art piece on stall bonet mustang, martin luther king quote, donated it to newlyn art gallery, then put on Instagram story, impact of art, infinity with art, reaction emotional connection to work in cornwall. 

Move back nice retirement and for children to be brought up in low crime rate, kids allowed to go out without worrying everyone should be allowed to do that, had children make them, opportunities.

Flora day – Pagan festival in Helston, and Christmas migrant not Christian, social impact oblige, not same reasons, advertisements. Aunty got presents. Chinese new year, once a year, cleanse ones selves, feel refreshed new year, and Chinese new year. Mooncake day, whip out the moon cakes – research further.
