It has also made me more confident by bringing me out of my comfort zone to try new tools.  However, it does makes me realise that I still have a lot to learn and gives me an enthuasiam and eagerness to gain more knowledge & skills in the future modules.

It is now 92% of the overall score for this category.  While I had been thrown into using online platforms during lockdown I really didn't have any of the theoretical knowledge behind what I was doing.  I was using VLE's but couldn't explain them and wasn't using them confidently.  This first module has helped me to gain knowledge of what I was doing and why I was doing it.  It made me consider the learners and the barriers that they face.   When completing the discussions and blogs we were encouraged to use different online tools to present the information.  This got me out of my comfort zone and increased my confidence to try and use new tools.  I can always learn more, find new tools and improve in this area. I've used Padlet for the first time for this blog under the many recommendations of the other students on this course like Treasa McGinley who used it in a previous blog.
