Wanted to have a chat with you and pick your brain about the reoccurring problems that are drastically affecting the black community. From watching and reading some of your interviews I know how strongly you feel about this oppression.

Ali: Hell my friend. I absolutely agree with you. The prejudice culture that the white folk in our country have becoming more and more of a problem and is getting out of hand. Our people need to be freed of this.

Newton: Free and respected. I'm sick and tied of the white man treating us in a manner that we don't deserve. They fail to understand the our enslaved ancestors were the ones who built this country. They kidnapped us, beat and tortured us, and stripped us of our basic human rights for hundreds of years and we DESERVE a change! I'm failing to understand why white people don't understand what they're doing.

Ali: Couldn't have said it better myself! Discrimination is alive and spreading. We need to put out this fire. These laws that segregate us from the whites solves nothing. How can we survive as one country if we can't use the same bathroom or drink from the same water fountain?

Newton: At this point Muhammed, I don't there's a chance of us coming together. From the riots to the peaceful protest, nothing seems to be working., especially peaceful protesting. Brother King is trying to integrate using the Ghandi ideology which is only getting more and more of us killed. Being peaceful will not get our demands answered. We have to be armed and protect ourselves at all times. 

Ali: I understand where you're coming from completely. We have been oppressed too long to not get where we won't to be as a group and as a culture. I know of no peace. You see me out there in the ring. I'm the greatest and I show no mercy! My first are my weapons. I'm not too sure what happened. I keep hearing a lot of different things. I haven't had an opportunity to watch the news and get any accurate information. I wanted to hear from the person that knows best about situations like this.

Newton: Hey Muhammed. It was not pretty at all. The riot lasted for about six days. Six days of complete chaos. It all started when Marquette Frye was riding his motorcycle and he was pulled over and arrested by, of course, a white highway patrolman. He suspected that Marquette was driving his motorcycle while he was intoxicated. Which we all believe to surely be an excuse to arrest yet another black man. As he was being arrested, a big crowd of onlookers gathered at the scene and that's when everything began. A lot of words be being exchanged between the crown and the police which eventually led to violence. It was absolute mayhem Muhammed! We overturned a burned cars, looted and damaged grocery stores, liquor stores, department stores, etc. Over the course of these six days, nearly 14,000 troops were deployed to try and control it. The riot took thirty four lives of our brothers and sisters and over one thousand injuries. There were about four thousand arrests before everything was restored back to normal. 

Ali: Oh wow! That is absolutely terrible Huey! But on the other hand, it is definitely something that needed to be done. Rest in peace to those whose lives were taken and I wish that all those that were injured have a speedy recovery, but it must be known that their sacrifice was for the greater good. I think that this is something that'll finally wake up White America. We need to let it be known that we will not say silent forever. 

Newton: You're absolutely right Muhammed. They need to understand that we won't be pressed anymore. We have been fighting for way to long. We have the same rights as every right that the white man has. We have done nothing but try to live and prosper and they keep setting us back. WE ARE NO LONGER SLAVES! We are human beings. This event will surely leave an imprint on the government, the police, and the white community. It needs to be understood that this will continue to happen.
