Our group, collectively, thought it was a good-hearted app. Some of us feel like they're still a little behind the curve on understanding and being able to use things such as Breakout Rooms and the Whiteboard app. There seems to be a level difference. For teachers in the upper grades, using things like the chat and Padlet were very effective. For teachers of younger students who may not have writing and spelling skills, something like a chat turns into a long line of emojis because younger kids like unicorns and rainbows and cloud bursts and shining suns. Using the tech that's available in Teams seems to bring everything together so rather than going out and using other apps, we're going all in on Teams which seems to be a practical and financially prudent move on the part of the District.
