Academic pressure can have a significant impact on students’ mental health. Many students feel stressed because they want to achieve high grades, meet deadlines, and satisfy expectations from teachers, parents, or themselves. This constant pressure can lead to anxiety, sleep problems, and even depression. Some students may feel they have no time to relax or do activities they enjoy, which affects their overall well-being. Therefore, it is important to learn how to manage time wisely, seek help when needed, and remember that taking care of mental health is just as important as academic success.

Do schools kill creativity? Back in 2006, Sir Ken Robinson posed this question to the TED audience -- and boy, did it touch a nerve. More than fifty million views and a decade later, head of TED Chris Anderson sits down with Sir Ken to dig into the changes and progress that have been made, and to see if the answer now is any different. How are educators thinking about creativity these days? And why should creativity be a focus at all? With his characteristic verve, wit and sparkle, Sir Ken explains all.

“One World, One Dream” is a monumental photograph by Chinese contemporary artist Wang Qingsong, whose practice often interrogates the social consequences of modernization, consumerism, and global identity in post-reform China.

This work stages a chaotic classroom setting where dozens of students feverishly write or copy from the blackboard, which is covered with hundreds of phrases, slogans, and terms, many in English, referencing globalization, popular culture, politics, consumer brands, and educational pressure. The title itself, borrowed from the official slogan of the 2008 Beijing Olympics, is both a literal and ironic statement: it asks whether the dream of global unity is genuine, or simply another imposed, commercialized fantasy.

Key Themes

•	Educational Anxiety & Conformity

The image critiques China’s rigid exam-based education system, where students are overloaded with rote memorization and performative learning. The students appear exhausted, mechanical, and overwhelmed — symbolizing how dreams are being standardized, commodified, and detached from individuality.

•	Globalization & Cultural Overload

The blackboard, filled with fragments of global pop culture, corporate logos, and Western ideologies, suggests the onslaught of external influence on young minds. The work questions whether the modern Chinese dream is truly domestic or shaped by a neoliberal, consumerist, global narrative.

•	Satire of Olympic Ideals

By placing the Olympic slogan into a grim, overcrowded classroom, Wang ironically contrasts the ideal of global unity and peace with the harsh realities of competition, nationalism, and indoctrination.
