Not seeing anything about individual schools, school maps, administrators, or teachers, or staff. Are there counselors in schools? What’s the police presence like? Nothing related to demographic makeup of students or teachers, no background on or history of community or district. Not seeing anything extracurricular related: sports, clubs, honors programs.

Like the Board has to produce something, so they just threw a bunch of policies (mostly focussed around state) onto a PDF. Not accessible for students because of the technical, hard to follow layout and language. Lots of references to U.S. code, as if anyone knows how to look up and read law. If I were a student, I would’ve taken one look at it and threw it away. It reads mostly as a laundry list of ways the school is gunna police and surveil me: from the dress code to the attendance policy to the search and seizure policy—it feels like autonomy and respect are ignored.
