I was raised by my mother, Theresa, who could spin splendid stories and share them with me, tales of my ancestors and of secrets I never knew

My father, Mark, works as an apothecary, compiling crazy concoctions to heal any disease, with his magic that he has studied for years upon end

As he teaches me about this sorcery and of his spells, he also has taught me to find the power of music and words, the unknown strength of the siren’s song

I have grown to learn the power of one’s voice, the vicious yet valuable voice that every person has, but few tap into, and how it can be used for persuasion, power, good or evil

Although many underestimate the power of words, I also bring to you, my people, my physical talents: my control of the waters and of horses, along with my years of training in movement and grace
