Can we actually stop these senseless acts of violence? I strongly believe that we can. This will not change over night, but a plan has to start and put into action. A lot of these kids don't have after school programs or anything constructive to do outside of school. They hang out with the wrong crowds and stray away. I could painfully hear the anger from the father regarding his daughter being shot and killed. The pain he felt is something I hope to not have to go through.
