Teachers use music in the classroom to assist students in developing their listening abilities. Playing a listening bingo game is one approach to develop this skill.

Bingo cards featuring images of common instruments or items are distributed to the students.
Students listen to each sound while the teacher plays a recording of the noise each object or instrument produces.
As soon as they hear it, they cover the image of the item generating that noise on their bingo board.
