The Soviet forces made it difficult and blocked the way of rails, roads and also access to the water making these areas Allied controlled places of Berlin. The United Kingdom also the United Sates took action and Airlifted products like fuel, food and more to Berlin. The casualty later ended in 1949.

The Berlin Airlift casualty was important to the 20th century because it showed that we faced and stood up to Soviet dominance. As well showed that we work together to face problems and showed the Wests movement to fight against democratic ethics against the Soviet. This made a big movement and change in the Cold war.
