This article follows a teacher and her journey and experience with different policies of cell phones. One of which is about the double standard that teachers hold for their students. The example she uses is a trip to the White House where the adults are asked to silence their cell phones and yet 3 or 4 phones go off and nobody says anything. Another example of this would be movie theaters. I personally hear cell phones go off all the time regardless of the people around them.

While some schools are trying to battle the use of cell phones the school mentioned in this article is using the use of the cellphones to their advantage. Wiregrass high school began using this technology to communicate with and teach their students. Teachers were using a mass text messaging service to send out assignments to their students.
