when I click on a subject for my ST scholar I can see all the scholars who submitted in the subject course. Possible solution might need to be that the samples are taken by the course teacher instead.

Maybe each course would have to create a monthly work sample assignment to ensure that the scholar stays on pace to submit it

Where do we check to ensure they are all uploaded? They aren't showing up in archived compliance so where are they?

Can we extend the Add/Drop courses date?

If we could add/drop courses, I know that would help me a LOT because a lot of my families don't want the elementary enrichment option and they don't use funds for extracurricular. If we could adjust their courses and remove the enrichment class, that would be one less standard/sample that would need to be uploaded and every little thing helps at this point!

We have been telling our LC's to complete the logs, but then we are supposed to uncheck a subject box if we don't feel they have earned attendance that day? - No ADA and No Trust
How do we determine "time value" if every scholar is different? 1 scholar takes 2 hours to complete work and another takes 6. (SPED) Not personalized or individualized.
If a scholar "attends" school by having green boxes (engagement) and/or logs but doesn't complete "enough work", we mark them absent? No ADA
How many boxes/days present do we check for time value? What constitutes a day of school? Could be different per class/assignment.
By unchecking the logs, we are invalidating what parents are doing.
ST's having to crosscheck logs, AWR's, attendance (LL's, SAI, tutoring). This is very time consuming.
Should we even encourage parents to complete the log at this point? If it was initially to show scholar engagement (offline, museum, play, library) in school w/o logging into AE, then what is the point now?
In a B and M (which I know we have different rules), if a student goes to school, sits in class and does no work, the school still gets ADA.

Guidelines

Having a list of guidelines will be helpful, so that we are all following the same process. For example: if there is no work sample, that is when we would know to subtract attendance. If there's a work sample for each class, and the learning log is filled out, even if they're failing, we would know we're able to still mark full attendance. If a scholar is working on a block schedule, we can upload two samples for each course they're working on, etc. This would help the STs because we're all following the same process & not necessarily making an attendance decision at our own discretion.

wrong LP showing up

When saving the Work Samples, I choose LP1 in the date range, and search for classes, and review assignments. Some of them say LP2 in what I think ends up being in the watermark. The submitted date and target date are in LP1 and I don't know why it's saying LP2.
