Hi! My name is Sara. I'm a primary school teacher at Pordenone in the north- east of Italy. I teach in a third class where I teach italian, maths, English and music. I love my job and this year I started using the "flipped classroom " method. I like this approach because the students work together in small groups, helping each other by a autentics tasks that make them aware of how the important what they learn at school.
I hope that this course will help me in my work with many innovative ideas.

Hello everybody. I am a teacher of primary school in a town near Pordenone, northern Italy. the school where I teach is not very big, the classes are small (15 students). There are about 160 pupils. in my school the students attend school from Monday to Friday until 12:30, and two days a week until 16. In my school are taught various subjects and there is a small vegetable garden where children can see grow some plants (eg carrots, potatoes, grapes, tomatoes, radish ...)
Every classrooom has a computer and internet line, but it isn't wi-if so it is very difficult work with children around only one computer.

Low level collaboration.
The students divided into groups of three children read the introduction of a realistic story and then together they invent the conduct and conclusion. In this case the level of cooperation is low because there are no defined roles and because the risk that only some work is very high.

High level collaboration.
Pupils are divided into small groups of 3 people. A lot, flipping through magazines and newspapers, a child will take care to choose the main character, a child the environment and the other two secondary characters. Each child will describe their part and then together will create a fantastic story with elements chosen by each child and improve from all members of group. In this case there is a high level of collaboration because everyone is contributing and finally to build together a single story.
