The Moti Masjid, or Pearl Mosque, was built by Shah Jahan between 1648 and 1655. Its name stems from the iridescent quality of the white marble from which it is constructed. The mosque stands at the highest point in Agra Fort and is admired for its simplicity of form. Employees of the East India Company commissioned drawings like this from Indian artists. Stylistically they are influenced by the drawings of European engineers.

The moment I laid eyes on this sculpture in the museum, I was captivated and snapped a photo. The woman applying makeup possessed an agile posture and exquisitely detailed expression, especially the beautifully rendered folds in her clothing, which brought the entire sculpture vividly to life. depicting Diana, the Roman goddess of hunting, was commissioned by Charles Watson-Wentworth, 2nd Marquess of Rockehan, to adorn his Wentworth Manor in Yorkshire. It was created by the renowned sculptor Joseph Nollekens.Diana, the Roman goddess of hunting, the moon, and chastity, is depicted by sculptors in a dynamic pose—turning her body mid-stride to draw her bow and shoot an arrow—exuding both strength and beauty After reading the information panel, I learned she was drawing a bow to shoot an arrow. With my deep fascination for European classical mythology, I was particularly curious about the story behind it. Research revealed that this sculpture, numerous classic legends surround her, such as the tale of Actaeon, who was accidentally caught spying on her bathing and transformed into a stag before being torn apart by his own hounds. Other stories recount how she protected her priestesses' chastity, highlighting her divine nature and majesty.

Hakihiiwe’s art defends Yanomami culture and Amazon ecology. Works like Wateoma Husi Pe (with larval motifs) expose threats from deforestation and mining. Even in isolation, he uses art to honor ancestors and testify to the future.

His practice challenges Western "primitive-modern" binaries, proving indigenous art’s contemporary value. As a curator said, his work shows art is "both an aesthetic creation and a link to life’s network."

• Creator: Isabella Rossellini, an Italian-American dual-national director, actress, and artist.

• Work Type: A cross-media art project integrating short films, performances, installations, and other forms.

• Visual Features: In the picture, she simulates animal habits with exaggerated costumes and body language. The high-saturation colors and dramatic styling in the background are the iconic style of the series. For example, she uses costume textures and gestures to metaphorically represent the reproductive strategies of insects, amphibians, and other creatures.

the reason why I like it best:

she integrates information into art and disseminates it through video as a medium in a humorous and approachable way.

It is a cross-disciplinary work and undoubtedly great.and the bright color matching, cinematographic language, and installations in this work are all extremely outstanding. They provide me a valuable learning opportunities as I really want to have a further study of film and television as major in the future.Additionally, the information it conveys is also highly original and significant. This work reflects on the gender norms in human society and challenges the cultural bias of "male-dominated reproduction" through the non-gender-stereotyped reproductive behaviors of animals (such as hermaphroditism in some species and male care of offspring).More significantly, by centering on animals’ reproductive dependence on the environment—such as amphibians’ requirement for water to lay eggs—the work subtly metaphorizes the damage inflicted on natural ecosystems by human activities, elevating the concept of "species survival" into an artistic warning regarding the global ecological crisis.
