Okay, so I really wish I could give this place a better review but the carne asada was OK at best. Way over-priced per taco. I am from california where you can purchase the same tacos for $1 each. I will say that I did like the atmosphere and the barbacoa tacos were delicious, but this is overrated and I will not be returning, especially when you can purchase the ingredients and make them at home.

FIVE STARS! If you are a fan of sweets you need to give this place a try. My personal favorites are the white icing sprinkle donut, the maple creme filled, and the creme filled long john. A dozen usually runs you under $8. The sugar cookies are the best in town. I always get a few dozen for parties that I host. They run $15 a dozen and keep them in stock. They also take specialty orders for cakes and cookies.

Cashier lady yelled at me and she's the one that butchered my order. She forgot to give me dipping sauce for my steamed dumplings and asks me what I want her to do about it. Are you serious?? Completely unprofessional, and I'm stuck with dry dumplings. This restaurant does not value my business at all and I'm willing to travel 12 miles away to the next closest Chinese food restaurant so I don't ever deal with this one ever again! You have officially lost my business.

This place was hot, slow and the service was super unorganized (probably 4 different people approached our table for different things). The bean sprouts in my pad thai tasted funky. I love pad thai and I truly did not like theirs. We never got refills and they messed up our check twice. I really wanted this place to be my new fave Thai joint since it's near our house. But nope, not with that experience. Not going back.

If they had 0 stars I would have rated it 0. I had heard about the great reviews and thought since I was downtown I would give it a try. The appetizer was about a 6, the scallops were not the greatest but the black beans had a good flavor. Main dish was the meat of the day. I assume it was prepared correctly but it was just not to my taste at all.  I was very hungry going to dinner but was unable to make myself finish even half of my meal. I may have gone on a bad night, but from my personal experience 1 star is all I could give it.
