I have many great accomplishments that I have come to obtain in my life but the one that give me the most happiness is being in a mentoring group. I am proud to be a mentor to my sisters and to be a mentor to the young people in our society. My biggest fears are of spiders, an intense fear of heights and failing. My happy place is at home this is because I am with my loved ones and I can have fun with my friends online, play games with my family and sleep. the farthest I've traveled is to Costa-Rica, when I went to a private school in middle school I went as a exchange student and stayed for 1 week.  I spend most of my time playing basketball or video games if neither I'm most likely out with my family. My most prized possession is a gold chain, it is a pass me down and it's been in our family for 3 generations. I love it because it has so much meaning behind it and it not just any old chain it one that has the memories or 3 generations.

I have a 4.0 GPA despite taking some of the most difficult classes in the school. I have a perfect ACT score of 36 and an SAT score of 1510, and I am a national meric scholarship semi finalist. Additionally, I recently got admitted to Rose-Hulman. And I did all of this while dealing with ADHD, which dramatically affects my efficiency and makes it extremely difficult to work at times. That is my greatest accomplishment.

I have a fear of loud sounds as a result of me being extremely sensitive to sound. I have had this fear since I was born, and although I have gotten better at coping with it over time, it’s still an issue sometimes (particularly with fireworks).

My happy place that gives me joy is virtually anywhere far away from civilization. When I’m in any sort of park or forest out in the country, I truly feel connected and happy. Many times, if I’ve had a stressful or traumatic day, I would go to a state or local park somewhere in the country, and every time I felt better after an hour or so of simply relaxing and connecting.

I know that probably a normal thing but I come from a school with 250 people and this was a big change for me so just being able to easily be myself was a struggle at first because I have really bad anxiety but now I’m fine. I normally would not talk like this but this id a formal class so I have to be formal. My biggest fear id easily needles. Like they are so small but that’s what makes them even scarier. Needles literally make me nauseous id rather do anything than get shots. One thing I do to relax is just listen to music most of the day I have my AirPods in and at home I just use my speaker. Especially while playing basketball music is a must.
