Fein. Each of the images and gifs represent the underlying message and main idea the author was trying to convey to the reader. Highlighting the summary of the entire essay, it revolves around the idea that things are often the same but it is how we percieve them that allow them to be different. The pictures show the themes in the story for example, light vs. darkness, growth and perspective. The hand print picture for example shoes how our lives are shaped by our childhood. The Koi gif shoes how sometimes darkness is actually light, and it just revolves around how one sees it. THe picture of the eye is drawn to show a "zipper" symbolizing one opening his or her eyes.
