It has given birth to numerous great authors such as Manuel Montalbán, Alicia Giménez-Barlett, creator of the first Spanish detective novel, Eduardo Mendoza and others. It has more than 122 bookstores and a large network of public libraries, and annually celebrates the day of Sant Jordi, a day when it's traditional to give books and roses.

Prague is a Czech city well known by it's historic places and beautyfull castles, with lot of medieval streets and a rich history that atract lots of tourists. Still very few people, including me before doing this research, know tha Prague was awarded with the tittle of City of Literature by UNESCO in 2014. And this tittle doesn't come without a reason. The Czech capital counts with lots of governamental institutions in charge of instigating culture, lots of libraries schools and places such as schools and cafés where there're aweys people reading.
