I studied abroad during my sophomore year of college and it was an incredible experience, and really shaped parts of who I am today. One thing I would change in my design is that I would alter the rest of the photos to have an oil painting effect, similar to the chapel photo. I also included people important to me (my brother, Julius, dog, Paige). I also added album covers and made the overall aesthetic of the piece look like an album for my love of music. Finally, in the background I added places that I've traveled to, which were some of my favorite experiences. One thing that I would change about my piece is the line between Akumal and Denmark in the background. It just looks sloppy. The smoke is for thing that happened to me not that bad of things but still. The broken mask is for the lies and the truth behind the mask. everyone has one but it is just to protect their self from each other. The most challenging part was the mask and trying to match the mask with the face. The other photos are overlapped images of my self, younger pictures and one current. The background image was one of my favorite memories in Alaska, a exciting glimpse into the future. The most challenging part of the project was navigating the many tools of photoshop and putting it all together. Retrieving images and getting a sense of the overall image was not difficult. I’m most proud of the theme of showing the past its future.

I chose the top picture of the sticks dangling because when i was hunting birds would land there and fight. The pretty trees just below are trees i saw out fishing with my family in our boat i just thought they were pretty. The next picture is me sitting with my bow that ive had since i was 4 years old i just liked it. The next picture shows the view from my treestand i just thought that i would take it because it was very green and that dead tree stands out nicely lastly there is a picture of a view off a lake that got cut off but i still added it. All and all i thought this project looked cool finished and i am proud of it.

Arizona has always meant a lot to me because I have a lot of family there. This photo also had a really cool sunset and palm trees, and both of those are one of my favorite things in nature. One thing that I would change about my design would be to try to cut out the 3 palm trees better because around them you can still see a little bit of sky. The image that represents my hair was taken at a flower park. I went there last summer with some of my friends that I met at a summer program. Being there with them made me remember how much I improved as a person. It was the first time I had made close friends with people my age who were strangers. I think I would edit/filter the photos to make them look more similar. I have these because the beach is my favorite place and it shows me coming through on struggles. I find that philosophy has been massively important to the way i live my life and how i view the world. I used socrates in this piece to bridge the gap between the sea to the sky. I really like the colour pallette in the piece as its very light blues and greens, and even the building in the background is a very light beige. I added a forest and a cliffside to further express my love for nature, adventure, and exploring. The two other images are the Parthenon and a greek painting of the Athenian government. These represent my love for greek mythology and history, which are two things that mean a lot to me. One thing I would change about my college is how I blended the images together. I know I could do better. However, one thing I am proud of is the way I blended the Parthenon and the flower painting. Throughout my life my experiences at my cabin have been my most cherished. If I were able to change something about my project I would make the images even and blend the edges together. One thing I was proud of was how well my outline turned out.
