Think about a nation’s most important needs—security, food, infrastructure, energy, etc.— and discuss how they should be prioritized. en-us 2018-12-10 02:11:40 UTC 2018-12-11 23:28:44 UTC hello@padlet.com https://padlet.com/karsten11/hpkqej49ihbx/wish/313220917 I believe that resources should be used as they are needed in the order of priority in which they are needed; for example: if you have a country that already has a fantastic infrastructure, but a terrible educational system, then you would need to organize a better educational system rather then a better infrastructure; however, if you had both a terrible educational system and a low food supply, then you would need to work on the food supply first, as it is more so vital to human life; so I guess that I would put first whatever was the most vital to human life/survival plus general happiness, but survival would have to come first. I wouldn't want to supply the people with something that they didn't need or neglect to supply something that they did need, but I would also want to give them what they want so long as it doesn't hurt others or is too frivolous/unfair to the other citizens. 
Priority-wise, my list would initially go something like this, as to provide a way for alteration as needed: 
- general food and water supply
- shelter/public safety (includes limited emergency resources.)
- educational system
- economy (we wouldn't even have many resources for long without.)
- infrastructure/energy supply 
- recreational resources/centers
- long-term emergency resources
- foreign relationship development

But also for schools mainly because there is a lot of school shoot outs . I think that school security should be trained to be like an officer. Food hunger is a main problem too we need people off these streets . I think they need to build homes or more shelters for the homeless. The second most important thing is housing's for the homeless people because there are more homeless people out there with nothing to protect them from the rain, the cold and the heat if you look at the street's you will find kid's, teen's and adult's trying to find somewhere to stay safe from the weather outside. 

The third most important thing is job's if there were more jabs out there people would never get in to criminal activities like selling drugs, guns and robbing banks, stores, houses and art gallery's if the United States stop's shutting down job's there would be lest criminal activities in the country people do things like this so they can feed there family's and to their houses. 

The fourth important thing is the food people should stop wasting food and start help people who can't buy food for there family's or for them self there are people out there asking for food and the people how can buy food waste the food if you have left over from the holiday give it to people that don't have food or sometimes buy them food if you have the money. 

The fifth important thing is energy in the day time turn off the lights when you are at home or when you go out the tv's if you are not watching turn it off  including the ac this will save a lot of money and help with othering the country need help with. 

The sixth important thing is infrastructure the freeways need to be fix in California that will help with the traffic and less car crashes there are freeways that are under construction so there are sometimes one lane that make traffic and we need a freeway for trucks their are people who are . 
afraid of the trucks  most crashes have trucks in them if we fix the freeways then there would be less traffic and crashes people would never be late for work .

Many homeless people resort to stealing when they don't have enough food or other items, which can be bad for the city that they are living in. Although there are a lot of homeless people that live on the streets due to their own choices, many also have no homes due to losing their jobs or having an illness (such as a mental illness). It can be hard to find work that will hire these people, thus making it hard for them to earn money. I feel like the government should try making more soup kitchens and shelters in which these people will be provided with food and a place to stay.

Another thing that I think the government should focus on is security and safety. Many schools and homes have been victims to shootings and bombings. Now not everything will be perfect and some people chose to be homeless or have something going on mentally, but for those who can use it, this would be very good. The next thing I believe would be to offer better security in schools and other places that need it. Because of all the school shootings we need either better security or more gun control, but something needs to happen. I think next would be food security, although there are food banks and organizations that help people like food stamps, we need to keep an eye on how much that is doing and how much more we need to do. I think next would be to improve some public schools, although most schools are pretty good there are some that just don't have the resources or funds to make it good enough. There is a lot more I could list, but those would be my top few.

Americas military budget is estimated $598.5 billion, making us the most powerful military force in the world. Feeding the homeless in America would only cost an estimated $4.4 billion a year, and all that would be recouped in future savings.
