Jiwoong was born under a human mother and a human father although he never knew what his biological parents looked like. As soon as he was born, he was sent to an orphanage where he spent most of his childhood and early teenage years. Due to his soft-spoken nature (and his pretty face, maybe?) he grew up to be a part of the orphanage's support system, being there for everyone (child and adults alike) when they needed someone to talk to.

While he is extroverted in nature and loves hanging out with people, he also enjoys the peacefulness of a quiet place surrounded by people like going to cafes, libraries, or bookstores. Sometimes he would sit in a library with a book in hand, pretending to read as he just soaked in his surroundings.

When he turned 18 and had to leave the orphanage, he was actually taken in by the headmaster at the school, giving him a place to stay and a community to fit into in exchange for working under him. He didn't have to be told, he just naturally gravitated towards the library anyway and decided that he would help out. Doing what he loves doing anyway but also getting PAID for it? He was sold.
