• The space is drop-in and free to all.

• At 12pm each week we run an accessible chair yoga session, facilitated by qualified yoga instructor Michael.

• Between 1-2pm we serve a hot meal with halal meat and vegan main options, rice, mixed vegetables, and salad.

• There are weekly craft activities including bracelet making, knitting, crocheting, painting and flower making.

• Children of all ages are welcome and we have a small play area with children’s toys.

• The space is wheelchair accessible.

They also have a general welcome hub at Wood Green - The Community Hub (8 Caxton Rd, London, Greater London, N22 6TB) on Tuesdays at 1.30-4.30pm for asylum seekers, refugees and general migrants who have recently arrived in the borough.

Please be cautious of the following:

• Avoid clicking on any links in unsolicited messages about winter heating subsidies.

• Do not share any personal or financial information in response to these messages.

• Haringey Council would never ask residents to apply for support through unsolicited messages or unofficial links.

Referrals are accepted for any vulnerable resident but particularly important are:

• those aged over 65

• those with respiratory or cardiovascular disease

• those with other long term limiting illness

• low income families with children

• households spending 10% or more of their income on energy

Following a discussion with a Shine London representative, vulnerable residents can benefit from services including:

• advice on saving energy and grants available for heating and insulation

• support with bills and energy debt

• 'Energy Doctor in the Home' home visiting service

• benefit checks 

• falls assessments

• telecare applications

• fire safety checks (from London Fire Brigade)

• home security checks (from the police)

• air quality alerts for people with respiratory diseases (from airTEXT)
