In Distance Learning, there are a lot of history standards that we are leaving out of our Unit. Molly and I were thinking of ways we could discuss the 13 colonies with only a week and incorporating information the students had already learned. I came up with an idea of a choiceboard style project that incorporated our focus vocabulary words like natural resources, indigenous people, and colonization. I put together the project and collected student friendly research resources. The students were stoked on the choiceboard options and we received projects ranging from an informational paragraph to a video game.
