What are the eligibility criteria for participating in BizMaker 2026?

Each team should include 3 to 5 members, with participants allowed to join only one team,
Participants must be studying for a diploma or undergraduate degree at universities within Malaysia only.

How many stages does BizMaker 2026 have?

Typically, there are two main stages:

BizPlanning (Preliminary Round)

- Participating teams in BizPlanning must submit their business proposal.

BizPitching (Final Round)

- Only the Top 10 Finalists will present their business ideas using slides to the judges.

*Only Top 10 finalists with the best business ideas will be advanced to BizPitching after the screening process.

Are all the participants compulsory to join the BizPlanning?

Which modes will be conducted in BizMaker 2026?

BizMaker 2026 will take place in a hybrid mode.

1. The BizWorkshop and BizMentoring sessions during BizPlanning will be conducted online using Cisco Webex Meetings.

2. For the BizPitching stage, the Top 10 Teams will present their ideas and slides in person to the judges at Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), Penang (Main Campus).

When will I receive the business challenge topic?
