So I wanted to give some advice and make the society have a advancement.Foster Hong Kong people's conservation duty.

As a matter of fact, we should use small actions can make big change. We don't need to be perfect, for example, replacing plastic straws by metal or paper straws, this like an upgrade not a sacrifice.

When I was sitting in the dark one night, I scrolled a documentary about a beach where are full of plastics and rubbish. Therefore, the seeds of my Youtube channel, "Do Our Part" were sown. I want to change my role from passive observer to an active advocate due to these kinds of situations. I felt a profound sense of urgency to do something before it was too late.

According to a recent survey conducted by environmental organisation, more than 70% of people want to help improving the above mentioned phenomenon, but they suffer from the bystander effect, they wait for others to act first.

Firstly, most people fail to realize how to live an eco-friendly life in their daily routine.The root cause of worsening environmental problems is the general lack of environmental protection awareness and green living habits.Many of us ignore small daily choices that can effectively reduce pollution and carbon emissions.They seldom take the initiative to choose low-carbon travel, such as cycling, to protect our planet.

In the beginning,I thought helping protect environment health was very difficultly. I thought I need to do something important to help earth.For example,the government should vigorously promote effect to protect biodiversity.However, some people they want to help but they do not how to start.

In the past, I would even doubt myself if individuals can really make a difference to deal with this affair. Today, I am so delighted to tell myself that the answer is "Yes".and I do want to share my stories and what I have gained with you.

I still remember when my friends and I were doing the Truth and Dare, and I-the unlucky one-was lost and requested to start a new Youtube channel. "What type of Channel should I begin with?" , I asked myself. Until one day, I saw the news about environmental conservation. "Blink", suddenly, an explosive idea came tomind. "Why Don't I host a channel about natural environment?"

At first, I posted a video about differentiating different kinds of cycled bins, as I don't really have the ability to do so. The video— with only around 300 views, mostly my mom— really struck me down, and I felt so frustrated.Watching other YouTubers' videos going viral, I felt as if I am not good enough.Even though I wasn't so serious to make a video, seeing my video being so invisible does frozen my passion. But here's a turnover, I saw a comment encouraging me to persevere, and he asked if we could collaborate with each other. Out of curiosity, I decided to make videos with him.

Our channel plans to break people's knowledge barrier as too much of them have wrong cognitives.They only focus on what they want and they don't see the environmental and sustainability vitally.Our channel wants to make the complicated and difficult knowledge easier to let more people learn so as to enhance their environmental awareness. Simultaneously,many adolescents think environmental protection is not their business.
