         <description><![CDATA[<div>I like how Ms. Bauer had a document she shared with the whole group.&nbsp; Each student had to write a reflection and respond to another reflection.&nbsp; I have tried to do some group assignments in my class but typically one student will do a majority of the work.&nbsp; This is a way to get each student to participate in some manner.<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Both classrooms had wonderful things about them. The classroom that were testing had all information on the walls and even Exit Slips were organized according to understanding. Bauers class had everyone engaged with the assignment and each other. This project directly related to their experiences and raised their level of engagement. I will file away the organization of the exit slips away with me. </div>]]></description>

Mrs. Barnes was walking around the room making sure students were on pace with their assignment and Mrs. Clark was great at giving real world examples for the definitions she was reviewing with her class. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The classroom activities were different but the engagement was quite similar.  The desk arrangement in the math class was great.  Collaborative learning was evident in the math classroom.  Both teachers used the time to remind of tutoring schedules and upcoming assessments.  </div>]]></description>

Students were collaborating and practicing teamwork. The second class had challenging  students. Students were somewhat focused. I love the way her room was organized and decorated.          <description><![CDATA[<div>In Dottie's room the kids were all in the same software she was - impressive to keep that many kids off the internet and following along! I liked how she had them "nod yes" to make sure they were engaged. Isaac's classroom management was also really good - they were all following along writing on their graphic organizers. That was a reminder to me that I need to do more graphic organizers when notes are harder to follow.</div>]]></description>

Students were engaged and they knew what they were supposed to be doing.<br><br>I would take back the note outline where students fill in the information. It eliminates any ambiguity about what is important or what students should be listening for.</div>]]></description>
