Limitations will need to be set to basic conversation vocabulary. Students sometimes move faster than the lessons. :)

I think this will make them want to learn more to talk/ sign about things they want to learn in the target language. With a large "buy-in" from the start they will hopefully be more engaged throughout the year. (:
