In the lesson I observed, I loved that students were talking and sharing their thoughts related to the holiday.  

The mini lesson that Melanie had allowed for discussion of images of the celebration.  I think this was awesome because it was more personal.</title>

I also think digital content can take care of those students who won't be in the mini lesson.
