Theresa Caputo is a 50 year old, New York born, and a reality TV "Medium". She has her own show on TLC called "Long Island Medium". Father and Husband died when his daughter was still young, so Theresa talks to them about how she can hear the father do thing to try and show that he is still there in spirit. Such as him snapping his finger. This apparently tells Theresa that his passing was sudden and unexpected. At the end she said that she could hear the father saying that, when he died, he didn't want to go. Including tricks such as "Cold Reading" & "Shotgunning". Cold Reading is pretty much about identifying the clients body language. Whether thats their hair, age, clothing style, gender, manner of speech, and even sexual orientation. Now, "Shotgunning" is another very easy trick mediums use to gather information from more than one individual, such as an audience or crowd. They will ask a very vague question(s), then wait for a response from anyone in the audience. She gathered a few members of the audience to do readings on them. She talked to a few different people about their loved ones that passed away. To me, this feels like is it very real in this situation, but it also may be set up by the cast of Theresa's show.
