Last Thursday, the Al-Zahra 8th graders and i were tasked to make ginger turmeric lemonade by the teachers for science day. First, we were called to the public speaking area because the teachers were going to give us instructions. After that, we were given a bucket full of gingers and turmerics to brush the dirts off.

It was fine at first, untill the water ran out while we were in the middle of brushing. We were forced to wash them beside the back gate. The boys was yelling all over and it was kinda irritating honestly, but i don’t mind.

After we’re done, we immedietly ran back to our cooking area and the others were already heating off the water. Syifa and i then starts grinding the gingers and turmerics, our hands were so yellow after.

Overall, the science project went pretty well. We also got a special mention from Mr.Feby. The only conflict is we haven’t print the sticker yet. But it’s okay, Ms.Dhea helped us print it (thank you so much Ms.Dhea). At the end, we’re all satisfied with the results.

Last week, we had a science day at my school. It was a 3 day event. The 7 th grade science day was on Wednesday, the 8 th grade was on Thursday, and the 9th grade was on friday. We were divided into 4 group.

we also have to nane our brand so l chose HealTea. Because the name healtea it's like a pun. On the day of the project we were told the step to make the tea and bla-bla and now it's time to start.

First we need to cooked the ingredient but while cooking the furnace almost didn't want to turn on. Next we need to boiled the the water, while boiling the water were told to crushed the ingredient.

After all the step are done we need to pour it onto a bottle so that i could be sell. Also 2 of our teammate's were sick.

in 26-27 january 2023, the seventh and eighth grade went to the scout camp, the scout camp begins in Thursday, 26 until january 27 of 2023, the scout camp was at the school ground, I went to school by my bicycle and I also brought lots of things.

The scout camp was started by the opening ceremony. And continued with lots of competition, I joined the sandi code competition. There are also the cooking competition at the evening.

At night, all the students joined the bonfire activity, continued with the arts performs. The scout camp was end at the tommorow morning. It was the best experience

I arrived at the camp at about 12:30 PM. After arriving there I put my bag on the stage. After waiting for 30 minutes we gathered at the field to do the opening ceremony. There was a lot of team and each of them were given a tent. After that I placed my bag in the tent my team was given after that I along with my friend went to the area behind the court and the scout leader was already waiting for me and friend. We participated in a Morse code competition and we did a lot of guessing.After the competition,The groups were told to cook something and we chose to make a burger.We started to prepare for bonfire.after that we did a performance.we slept at 12 PM. After that we did the ending ceremony and went home.

On the 26-27th January 2023, There was Scout competition at my school. The competition start at 2 PM. Before the competition started, we did an opening ceremony with the teachers and the Al Zahra foundation. The ceremony went great although There was a little bit of rain, but everyone was ok. After the ceremony, the Scout leader tells us about the competition. There is Morse code, semaphore, Scouting knowledge and cooking.

last thursday, my school made some event called " science day ". we were told to make a " Lemonade with curcuma and ginger ". my groupmate was Nayla, Alina and Keishafina. our goal was to make a video about the process of making a drink and made some presentation about the drink. the first 10 minutes were great. me and alina did the cooking, nayla and keishafina did the filming. but suddenly alina got a very bad stomach cramp, so she had to go to the uks. half an hour later, nayla felt really nauseous and dizzy, she was taken to the uks too. it left only me and keishafina, we finished the cooking and did the editing. just two of us, can you imagine?. well thats all for my science day experience

Scout Camp - Rasya 8C

In 26 - 27 February 2023 the seventh and eight grade went to the Scout Camp in Smp Al-Zahra school. The scout begins in Thursday 26 February 2023 until Friday, 27 February 2023. Im so excited in this experience. Scout Camp is the best experience in My life.

at 26 until 27 January 2023, grade 7th and 8th have a scout camp in our school field we called it "perkaju, perkemahan kamis - jum'at". It was a lot of fun the opening ceremony started at around 12, it went pretty well but it was a bit sprinkling rain after the opening ceremony finished, we get to our tents to put our things, then we gathered together to start a competition, i participate in "lomba pengetahuan umum" with Khansa, and i pretty sure i did well.

On February 16-17, Al Zahra There are camp activities. I stayed two days at camp. There are lots of exciting competitions .

Alul-8C. 26-27 January we did perkaju in school. We went to school after 1 pm. At school teacher told us to make in the cafetaria, because it's raining that time. In the cafetaria wi read ikrar and asmaul husna, after that we went to our tent. After we went to our tent the teacher told us to make a line again at cafetaria to do a competition. The teacher gather us and make some group. The teacher telling us to go to a certain place for the competition. After the competition we went to our tent and took a break. After the competition do the cooking in front of each tent. After that we took the food to the jury. At 6 pm we getting ready for maghrib prayer. After the pray the teacher told us to make a line and then told us to make a big circle for the campfire event. The event the show began as the campfire people lights the fire. After the event we pray isya and then the teacher held a yell contest. After that we went to sleep. In the morning someone woke us and told to get ready to pray subuh. After we pray subuh we make a line but it's started raining and the teacher told us to hurry but we don't understand so we went under a roof. The teacher lecture us and ask a lot of question. After that we get ready for a morning exercise. After that it's the closing event, the teacher told us who is the winner and me and my friends won, then they gave us a lot of snacks. After that we went home.

On Thursday, the 9th of February SMP al-zahra Indonesia held an event called "Science day", for this event students from every grade must make a drink to sell to the eighth grade, we must make a herbal turmeric drink.

A few days prior we were assigned on different teams, the group I was assigned to had Nayla, Khayra and keishafina. We were also told to bring a few items from home such as a knife, cutting board, a pot (+ the lid), a portable stove and more.

On Science day, we went to the public speaking event where the event was held. We were given a table to make our drink, on that table we arranged the items that will be on the table. After we arranged the items, keishafina went to the biology laboratory to get the ginger.

Our teacher, ms. Emil had a speech about what we were supposed to do throughout the event; the items we will get, the steps we have to do e.t.c. After that we were given the ingredients we will use, such as lemons, water. For the first step, Nayla and khayra went to find water to wash the ginger.

After Nayla and khayra finished washing the ginger, we started making the drink. Throughout the whole process of making the drink we filmed it; starting by boiling the water, slightly pounding the ginger, melted the brown sugar in the water, and added some squeezed lemon juice for a sour aftertaste.

We finished making our drink during break time. Unfortunately when break time finished I had a stomach cramp, so I went to the UKS to rest. A few minutes later Nayla also went to the UKS, leaving only Keisha and khayra left. I trust them to finish the project and they did (good job guys! ). That's how my science day went.

On Thursday, February 9th, 2023, my school held a Science Day event. I'm an eight grader. That's when we get our turn. Meanwhile, seventh graders' turn was held on Wednesday, and the ninth graders were held on Friday. Science Day was all about utilizing the plants in our surroundings. We were ordered to make herbal turmeric lemonade. This event was done in groups. My group consisted of Aliyah, Syifa, Kezzia, and Qiani. Each member had to bring at least one form of kitchenware, like utensils, knife, chopping board, etcetera.

After instructions were given out, which mentioned how the process was supposed to go, ingredients we'll be using, and other things- we were given a bucket of gingers to brush off the leftover dirt. Aliyah and Syifa were tasked to clean them. After the two of them finished, we started creating our drink. It went very well. The only issue we had was the ginger-tumeric ratio. But we got help from one of the instructors, so the issue was short-lived.

Once we were done stirring the pot along with a few taste tests, we quickly began pouring the drink into the bottles we were given to serve to people. Not to mention, we had to give our drink a name. My team named it "Jafis (Jahe Fisika)," since we based our brand around our physics teacher. Even the sticker design was a picture of said teacher.

After that, we made a short video presenting our drink, an advertisement if you will. We filmed in the school forest area. Though we didn't get to finish it at school, we were given until 8PM to submit our video. We were a bit late, but we still managed. This part happened when we each went home.

I was supposed to go home like usual but had to stay at school to do some other work. That's beside the topic, though.

I'd just like to finish this post with my gratitude towards Aliyah, Syifa, Kezzia, and Qiani. They all did a spectacular job and also our teamwork was great. Thank you to those who I mentioned.

Hi I'm Qiani and I will tell you about my camping (perkaju) experience this year. Last year I didn't attend perjusa because I was sick and I stayed at the hospital for days!, I was so sad that I can't attend the event. But this year I attended the camping event and it was very fun!, not to mention it was hilarious too. Me and my teammate got semaphore for the competition, it was really making us really nervous but we passed the competition. After the first competition ended, we were told to take a break for a while and then the cooking competition would start. When the 'api unggun' starts, it was fun since after it there's was some competition and kind of a talent show. My group sort of messed up with our choreography, but atleast it's fun. When we were at the tent it was hilarious, some of my group can't sleep really well and I also didn't have much sleep but it was the funny part since it's so loud outside because of the rooster sounds. I'm really glad I attended perjusa since overall it's fun and will be a great memory to be reminded to.

On 26-27 of January, we went to scouts camp. The camp set was on the school field. I arrived at 11PM because I like being early. There were already a lot of students there, so I wasn't alone.

While I was there, we had time to practice for this one activity (I forgot the name). I was actually doing great at it, but j was super nervous so that made it worse. But I had a great time there, it was super fun. Then we made burgers for the cooking competition. Unfortunately, we didn't win. But at least the burgers were good, so it's a win for me. And then at night, we had a bon fire(api unggun). The fire wasnt really big like last year, so I wasn't too excited for that. But still, it was really fun to watch the other teams performing their yel-yel. And then we went to sleep, it was really cramped up in my teams tent. Because we had a lot of members there, and my neck was really sore after that.

In the morning we had a morning exercise, breakfast, and a fun games too. After that they announced to all the winners. We didn't win though, my friends teams won (the lavenders). So congratulations to them! Then we finally went home, and I went straight to bed because I didn't get enough sleep there.

The ingredients for the drink are lemon, ginger, brown sugar, mineral water. This drink has benefits like relieve nausea, reduce body weight, pain reliever and another. From activities like this i can get to know more about healthy.

on the 27-28 january at school there Scout camp, I arrived at school at 11 o'clock and I put my bag in the cafeteria, at 13 o'clock pickles started and at the opening ceremony I became the leader of the ceremony
after the opening ceremony all the teams competed in competitions, semaphore, scout sandi, morse, ppb, cooked until evening. after this at 9 o'clock you do a bonfire and I become the leader of the bonfire activity. and after that everyone competed showing their team's yells, after that we all went forward if we wanted to singing.
and at 11 o'clock we all sleep until 3 o'clock we are woken up for briving and dawn prayers, after this we do gymnastics and games
after everything was finished distributing the prizes, and my team (the bulls) became the best team at the scout camp and the closing ceremony after that was over.
