BEAM bridge: all you need is a rigid horizontal structure (a beam) and two supports, one at each end, to rest it on.  (2) consists of a horizontal beam supported at each end by piers.

Cantilever Bridge: 
(1) A simple cantilever span is formed by two cantilever arms extending from opposite sides of an obstacle to be crossed, meeting at the center.
(2) A structure at least one portion of which acts as an anchorage for sustaining another portion which extends beyond the supporting pier.
 
TRUSS bridge:  a bridge that consists of an assembly of triangles.
 
ARCH bridge: a bridge with abutments at each end shaped as a curved arch. (abutement: something against which another thing rests its weight or pushes with force; (2) The part of a structure that bears the weight or pressure of an arch.  (3) a structure that supports the end of a bridge.)
