The meaning of the song is not suprising because the the singer and the rapper are both know for fighting racism but that's not the only thing that the song fight for, this song is also for womens especially black womens. In the song, we notice that Beyoncé accentuates the word freedom with a powerful voice. This song is clearly empowering and give hope and support.
