         <description><![CDATA[<div>After the drought there was a severe food crisis that that threatened the life of millions of lives in Africa. This had happened when a large number of refugees had came to Africa and it became unsanitary and people started becoming sick and malnourished. The crisis had mostly affected farmers. When the famine began tens of thousands of  people died. Parts of Uganda where affected by this food crisis. </div>]]></description>
