this program has gaven me a chance to have a self-confident and to improve my English accent. When I’m in junior high school I have no confident to speak loud on everybody, I’m to shy. But now I’m confidently to speak loud and to face other people.

i think although it is quite a shame that we were not able to meet in person, i truly do appreciate this whole experience, being able to meet new people, make friends, to learn new things, about the Philippines, the history and culture etc.
i felt like i was able to share my knowledge and share about Singapore which was rather nice, and i hope everyone enjoyed it
overall, i think yep was a very fulfilling and enjoyable experience 🤓👍

for me, the most memorable part would be the session when we taught you guys some basic greetings in different languages like Chinese, Malay and Tamil and also when we were learning Tagalog
and the times when we played games together, finding the animal, 2 truth 1 lie etc. yeah i think we got to bond over the games better, which was great 🤪👍

through this programme, i got to learn more about the philppines and their culture and i also got step out of my comfort zone, and gained a little bit of self-confidence

I feel very happy about this YEP trip for organizing and participating in all sessions. This is entirely a new experience for me. It gave me new opportunity to work with Teachers and interact with students from Davao, Philippines as well as students from different courses of LSCT, NP.

The takeaway from this programme are Philippines rich culture, friendly people and beautiful natural sceneries, for example Mt. Apo. It is important to learn and understand each other's culture. So that we can have a better understanding of people, respect cultural values and develop long term friendships.
